Los Lagos Hotel is one of El Calafate's pioneering lodging establishments and occupies a building that originally housed the town's first industrial bakery. It has welcomed guests since 1991, offering all the comforts you need and excellent value for money.

They will help you choose the best options for visiting Perito Moreno Glacier, El Chaltén and the Patagonian ranches, as well as plan and organise your excursions and arrange transfers so that your stay in El Calafate is simple and memorable. What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is until 10:00. Reception is staffed from 07:00 to 22:00 every day of the year. If you will arrive outside these hours, arrange your arrival with the hotel in advance.
Can I check in early, arrive late at night, or leave my luggage?
Reception is staffed from 07:00 to 22:00. Arrivals outside these hours must be arranged with the hotel in advance. Early check-in, late check-out and luggage storage are subject to availability and confirmation: please contact us before arrival.
Is breakfast included?
Yes. Breakfast is included in every rate and consists of coffee, tea, milk, bread, medialunas (Argentinian pastries), butter, cheese and jams. It is served in the breakfast room from 07:00 to 09:30. If you need to leave earlier, you can ask reception in advance to have it prepared for collection before the usual breakfast hours.
Are children and families welcome?
Absolutely — we're a small family-run hotel and families feel right at home here. Our triple rooms are a great fit; tell us who's travelling when you book and we'll help you choose the right room.
I'm a foreign tourist, do I pay VAT?
No. Non-residents are exempt from VAT (21%) on accommodation when paying with foreign payment methods. When booking you can indicate your status, and at check-in we verify your ID or passport.
What is the cancellation policy?
It depends on the selected rate. The flexible rate allows free cancellation until 7 days before check-in and requires a one-night deposit, payable no later than 7 days before arrival. If you book within that period, contact the hotel to confirm the payment deadline. The non-refundable rate does not allow cancellations or changes. Check your rate conditions and booking confirmation.
Does the hotel have a lift or rooms that can be reached without stairs?
The hotel does not have a lift. Some rooms are on the upper floor and are reached by stairs. If you have mobility requirements, please contact us before booking so we can advise you on the most suitable option.
Do you have parking?
Yes, we have open-air parking at the hotel entrance, monitored by security cameras, at no extra cost for guests.
